 d Christmas Parade is always the Saturday night (at dark) after Thanksgivi

 , the Town of Silver City\, and state agencides have made the Silver City 
 MainStreet Project an integral part of local economic development. Since 1
 985\, MainStreet has provided business services\, developed infrastructure
  improvements and promoted historic preservation and design sujpport. Ther
 e are more than 200 retail and service businesses\, non-profit organizatio
 ns\, art studios\, churches and government services in the Historic Downto
