Audubon Field Trip Saturday, July 7, 2012 SIGNAL PEAK & MEADOW CREEK Meet at Fine Arts Theater south parking lot @ 7:30am.
4-wheel drive & high clearance vehicles only. We will carpool up through Pinos Altos to the Signal Peak and Meadow Creek areas, where we will bird partly from the roadside and partly on short walks. Be prepared for 3-4 miles total walking, on and off trail, in what may be hot conditions; bring water, snacks and lunch.
We will picnic in the mountains and then return to Silver City, aiming to return around 3pm.
A wide range of forest specialties are possible including Greater Peewee, Olive Warbler and Red-faced Warbler.
