Rolling Stones Gem and Mineral Society Meeting. 2nd Thursdays at the Silver City Senior Center on Victoria St. Potluck Dinner at 6pm; Meeting, Rock Draw and Program at 6:45. Program: “Rockin’ the Surf, and Other California Adventures.” Kyle Meredith and Joshua Reeves will present a slide show of their camping trip to California last January, which included a stop at Quartzsite, beachcombing for jade, descending into a lava tube in the Mojave desert, and other diversions along the way.
