Come out every Saturday to the MainStreet Plaza off Bullard Street for choices in fresh produce. Mining District residents can catch a ride to the Silver City Farmers’ Market for free on Corre Caminos’ newest bus route starting on August 18, 2012, which continues until the end of the market’s season on October, 27, 2012. The Saturday route is sponsored by Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities (HKHC) to help rural residents, without a farmers’ market in their area, to access locally grown healthy food.
