      The monthly Green Drinks meeting of the Southwest NM Green Chamber of Commerce and the NM Solar Energy Association-Silver City Chapter will begin at 5:30pm Friday, March 8, @ Energy Ideal, 820 N. Bullard (the SE corner of Bullard and College Ave.).

      Van Clothier of Stream Dynamics will show us how to assess water resources and cost effectively make use of them. An update on the 2013 Legislative sesson, local business/community announcements and networking will wrap up the evening.

      The Hi-Lo Silvers, a women’s chorus, will present two free concerts at the First Presbyterian Church, 1915 N. Swan Street, in Silver City. Directed by Valdeen Wooton and accompanied by Virginia Robertson on piano and Bill Baldwin on string bass, the chorus will sing old favorites and songs from Broadway and film. Free.
