Silver City Golf Course: Visitors are sometimes surprised to find that Silver City has a lovely, 18 hole golf course just a short drive from downtown. Public Tennis Courts: Silver City has 2 tennis complexes. The WNMU campus has 6 public courts and the Town of Silver City has 8 public courts. WNMU’s tennis team welcomes the public to watch matches by the Men’s and Women’s teams. With our mild weather, outdoor tennis is possible nearly all year. WNMU Courts: 147 Rhoda Rd (near 12th & Mississippi Streets) Town of Silver City Courts: 32nd St, at corner or Swan St Cycling: Grant County has some of the best year-around cycling in the southwest. There are river valleys, mountains and outstanding scenery. The roads are lightly traveled and great for road bikes and there are plenty of forest roads and trails for mountain bikes. Bowling: Silver Bowling Center offers 16 lanes of bowling, a restaurant, game room, a complete line of bowling accessories, big screen TV, and automatic scorers. Silver City Skate Park 1305 N Grant St Silver City Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) riding: There are many opportunities for Off Highway (ATV and Motorcycle) riding in Grant County. The Gila National Forest (but not the Gila Wilderness) allows responsible riding on existing roads.
