Rhythm Mystic is a very popular and highly sought after band, not only in the Silver City area but through southwestern New Mexico. Their unique and highly engaging sound melds atmospheric melodies with thickly textured grooves set in a diverse mix of upbeat & dance friendly tunes using elements of R&B, funk, reggae & world music. The driving force in Rhythm Mystic is duo team Michelle Parlee (bass) and Peter Dahl-Bredine (keyboard, guitar); they perform as a duo at times but often include several other of the area’s best musicians into their mix!
